Thinking about buying an e-bike with 20-inch fat tires? If so, it’s no wonder that e-bikes have been in high demand for a number of years now, breaking sales records year after year. Although e-bikes of all sizes are popular, many riders find that big 26-inch e-bikes with fat tires aren’t for everyone, especially those with physical challenges or shorter rides.

As a result, e-bikes with 20-inch fat tires are becoming increasingly popular, especially with stepper frames. E-bikes with big tires are becoming more and more popular due to the easy and convenient assembly of the bike. Unlike step bikes, which require the rider to cross their leg over the back of the bike to get on, assembling a step e-bike requires lifting one leg and crossing the frame.

Four Important Questions Every Buyer Should Answer Ocelot Pro Step by Step

Before making a purchase, it is important to read the following four questions. With a plethora of options available to the e-bike enthusiast, it’s important to shop carefully. It is important that you familiarize yourself with the ins and outs of any electric bike you are considering buying. The price range for fat tire e-bikes varies widely between  brands, but the optimal range is between $1,500 and $3,000. Given that it’s a big investment for most drivers, it’s definitely worth making some informed comparisons. Here are the top four  factors  most e-bike buyers consider when evaluating potential purchases:

A. Do you like the look?

As with dating, the first thing that attracts people is their physical appearance. It’s true that beauty is subjective and people can have different opinions about what makes an e-bike’s design attractive. However, everyone wants to ride a bike that looks good.

MAGiCYCLE Ocelot Pro

The acclaimed design team at Magicycle  continues to live up to its reputation as a maker of durable and beautiful looking e-bikes with the introduction of the Ocelot. This attractive bike is offered in three popular colors.  Ocelot Pro has a beach cruiser-like design  and is suitable for cruising along sandy beaches with panoramic views. With all-terrain tires, full fenders and a wide, comfortable saddle, this fat tire e-bike is also great for city streets, country roads,  off-road trails and even steep inclines.

Aventon Abound

Abound has  a slightly more functional look; a little less fluid. It doesn’t have the sleek looks of the Ocelot, in part because it’s geared more toward carrying cargo. This 20 inch e-bike tire comes in two colors: blue and grey. Many would argue that the Abound, with its 2.4-inch-wide tires, doesn’t quite fall into the “fat tire” category. Still, it’s definitely a stylish bike with fat tires.Which of these two e-bikes looks better? It’s your phone… look:

B.Can this e-bike handle steep inclines and heavy loads?

MAGiCYCLE Ocelot Pro

Given the performance of an e-bike for climbing and heavy loads, the MAGiCYCLE Ocelot Pro is a reliable option. This e-bike features a 52-volt 20-amp LG battery powering a 750-watt hub motor. What sets the Ocelot apart from other e-bikes is the upgraded motor, capable of producing 96Nm of torque. Torque is critical to performance as it determines the force required to turn the rear wheel of an electric bike.Without  excellent torque, you’ll lack steep climbs and may forget  to pull away quickly to safely navigate busy city junctions.

The greater the torque of the motor, the more powerful the e-bike. This torque can come from the motor itself or from the rider’s pedaling. With a motor that produces 96Nm of torque, the Ocelot Pro offers faster starts and better climbing ability than lower torque e-bikes. MAGiCYCLE paves the way to torque and gives your e-bike  more power.

Overall, the higher torque  results in faster starts, easier hill starts and better hill climbing. This battery and motor combo offers a maximum range of around 80 miles. Range varies from rider to rider and depends on rider weight, equipment and accessories carried, terrain, tire pressure and wind speed.

Aventon Abound

The Abound also features a 750 watt hub motor but has a less powerful battery at just 48 volts and only 15 amp hours. This battery and motor combo gives riders an estimated maximum range of up to 50 miles and  torque is slightly lower: just 80Nm compared to the Ocelot Pro’s 96Nm.The Aventon  also has a slightly shorter range…just 50 miles  compared to the Ocelot’s 80 miles. Of course, the range achieved with any e-bike will vary depending on rider weight, terrain, tire pressure, wind speed, etc.

Speaking of weight, the Aventon Abound gives you an outstanding 440-pound payload, while the Ocelot Pro offers 350 pounds. The Abound tops out at 20 mph, but is slowed down by the Ocelot Pro at 28 mph.

C. Is the price right for me?

Price should not be the primary factor when choosing a fat tire e-bike, but it is an important consideration. Unfortunately, the price doesn’t always reflect the facilities and quality, so be careful.

MAGiCYCLE Ocelot Pro

The Ocelot is currently $1,889 if you redeem a $100 coupon provided by Magicycle.

Aventon Abound

The Abound is now $2,199. There are currently no coupons available.

In the last few months, most buyers say  every dollar counts. If you can get a better return on your investment, the decision will be easy for you.

D. Is this bike made in a branded factory?

Many Fat Tire electric bike buyers forget to ask this question. This is an important question as owning a factory is a key factor in controlling product quality. Quality is important…more important than any other factor. Quality control directly affects the buyer’s safety and enjoyment. The  importance of rider safety is obvious and of course no one wants to have constant problems with their bike  due to poor quality control.

MAGiCYCLE The Ocelot Pro

MAGiCYCLE offers the advantage of comprehensive quality control.why is this true Because MAGiCYCLE owns the factory where its e-bikes are manufactured. This makes them one of the  few elite e-bike brands to own a factory. Many e-bike brands  simply sell e-bikes purchased from a multi-brand factory.

You may not have thought about it, but it is impossible to maintain satisfactory quality control unless the brand has a factory. The 107,000 square meter Magicycle factory features the best manufacturing technology in the world. Magicycle factory is located in Wuxi, China, the world capital of electric bicycle production for more than 16 years, and has produced more than 1.2 million electric bikes for adults, sold to North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and other villages. ; regions.

From these countries, 800,000 users provided riding data that helped Magicycle develop extremely stable and comfortable e-bikes. This offers Magicycle customers the ultimate value for money with the latest technology and materials, consistently exceeding customer expectations.

It is very difficult to judge quality by appearance alone. It’s certainly bad news for consumers when an attractive product isn’t backed  by quality engineering and manufacturing. Bottom line, Magicycle  has its own factory and design and engineering team. This gives Magicycle complete control over the quality of their e-bikes, from concept and design to manufacturing and shipping.

Magicycle exercises exemplary quality control throughout the entire bicycle building process, from design to manufacture to shipping. When the Magicycle Ocelot Pro arrives at the  new owner, in the box is an e-bike that will last  and is already 90% assembled. This is an aerodynamic fat tire e-bike designed for reliable performance, long life and  safe riding. Quality Matters: Don’t settle for an e-bike from a brand that doesn’t have a factory.

Aventon Abound

The Aventon brand also owns the factory where Abound is manufactured. It is very difficult to find a picture of the factory as well as general information about the Aventon factory.

Anyway, when choosing a 20 inch electric bike, it is reasonable to pay close attention when buying a fat tire electric bike and strictly avoid  e-bike brands that may not have a factory. With Magicycle and Aventon, you have one less thing  to worry about.
