With a lot of people having to carry out remote working in recent times, there are many who are feeling that the prospect of going back into a busy office environment is very daunting. There is an alternative, of course, to going back into this hectic and noisy way of life, and that is to look for a new career that can be carried out from the peace and quiet of your home.

There are many career paths available to do and work this way, but here are just a few.

#1 Running your own eBay business

There are a lot of people running their own eBay business from their home, and you can do it, too. However, there are a few things that you may need to think about before you jump straight in. You should complete your research into what items sell and what the profit margins are like before you decide on a product niche.

You should ideally choose a product that you can get easily to sell on to customers and decide whether you are going for the new market or the second-hand one. Also, consider listing and postage fees when you are looking at your profit margins.

One final point to consider when looking into running your own eBay-styled business, is to think about storage for the goods while you are waiting for them to sell.

#2 Google associate cloud engineer

You may want to have a look at a very fast-growing industry such as cloud computing. By completing training to become a Google associate cloud engineer, you will be doing just that.

This training offers an industry-recognized certification to those who pass the final exam. There is a very high demand for people with this particular qualification, and if you are looking for a change in career, this could be a very good move, regardless of your current career.

#3 Free content website or blog

As a third option, you may want to try and create a free content website. This may take a while to bring in the money, but it will happily tick over in the background once all set up with only a little bit of maintenance.

This is where you set up a website and post blogs or articles to it. Make sure that you have relevant advertisements around the edge or running through the text, as this where the money will come in.

Some companies will pay just for their advert being seen, whereas others will want a click-through to happen in order to part with any money. Make sure to choose the right sort of advertisements as some will pay more than others but in order to keep the companies happy you will have to have relevant content.

This will require regular updating and constant fresh blogs and articles for your readers’ interest. If you feel that you do not have the time to do this, you can always pay a professional to do it for you but keep in mind your own profit margins when doing this.
