Elon Musk is an awesome guy. We can all agree on that.

An entrepreneur and businessman, the chairman of SpaceX, PayPal, and most importantly for our topic, Tesla…

Tesla is an American company based in California that holds the motto of clean energy. It’s named after Nikola Tesla, the Serbian-American inventor and electric engineer known most for his contributions in the field of electricity, especially in the alternating current electricity supply system (AC).

It was founded in 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning under the name “Tesla Motors”.

Holding first place worldwide in the field of electric passenger cars; Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, says that the main goal of the company is sustainable energy gained from solar power and electric vehicles.

The first car Tesla produced was the RoadSter in 2008, but due to its high price, it hasn’t achieved the desired popularity. But in 2012, introducing Tesla Model S, the company set the standards for Electric Vehicles.

Since then, Tesla never failed to astonish the world with its originality introducing a series of electric cars among them:

  • Tesla Model 3

Although Tesla is known for its high-priced cars, model 3 is among the affordable options in the electric vehicles market. Model3 is a sedan with an outstanding interior design, a glass roof, and quick acceleration. The driving range of this model is 423 kilometers per charge.

  •  Tesla Model S

An eco-friendly sedan that is suitable for everyday transportation and long trips. Tesla Model S is not exactly an affordable car like Model 3, especially with the high competition with other famous brands like Porsche and Lucid cars…

But still, everyone has his own preferences,  and that’s why despite all the competition and the high prices, Tesla is still selling this model.

It goes from zero to 836 km/h within 2 seconds, and the driving range is 836 kilometers per charge.

  • Tesla Model X

With its Falcon Wing doors, this car is luxurious, stylish, and comfortable.

But still, it is considered one of the most expensive cars among its rivals. Nevertheless, for an SUV, Tesla Model X is really fast, with a driving range of 579 kilometers per charge.

With its optional third row of seats, this model can be eye-catching for buyers looking for a modern eco-friendly family car.

  • Tesla Model Y

This model offers an astonishing acceleration for an SUV, as it can go from zero to 60 mph within 4 seconds, with a top speed of 145 mph.

Compared to the other Tesla models, this one needs more charging with a driving range of 392  km/h per charge.

The high prices of Tesla cars may not be considered a problem soon, as Elon Musk – CEO of Tesla- announced today through his Twitter: “you can buy a Tesla with Bitcoin”.

So let’s take a minute to talk about Bitcoins…

Bitcoin

An unknown group of people named Satoshi Nakamoto invented this cryptocurrency in 2008. This digital currency is decentralized and can be exchanged between users without intermediation.

Elon Musk and Bitcoin

Last February, Elon Musk announced through his Twitter that Tesla has bought what is worth $1.5 billion Bitcoins, which raised rapidly the price of this cryptocurrency.

Once again, recently, Musk tweeted about the possibility of buying a Tesla with Bitcoin, boosting the Bitcoin prices by more than 4%.

The option of buying Tesla with Bitcoin is only available now inside the United States, but Musk said that the option of buying Tesla cars using this digital currency will be available worldwide by the end of this year.

Musk’s tweet today raised controversy because of the clash between the goal of the company in sustainable clean power, and the amount of electricity needed for using Bitcoins which increases the emission of carbon gases. However, that didn’t affect the company’s sales yet.

No one can turn a blind eye to the fact that the world is changing rapidly each day. Today one must be quick in catching up and coping with these changes or he will be left behind.

So, are you ready for the car valuation process to take the chance and cash your car and get paid with Bitcoins? Or the ambiguity that surrounds this cryptocurrency still holds you back from taking such a decision?
