Each person experiences anger at various times throughout their lives, and this is perfectly normal. Anger is an emotion that can vary in degree; from being annoyed to spiraling out of control into fits of rage. When left unchecked and uncontrolled, anger can lead to severe problems in every aspect of a person’s life, including relationships, and sometimes even legal issues. It’s better to get counseling than to do something irrevocable to someone you love and have to live with it for the rest of your life. Just like happiness, sadness, envy, and love, anger is an emotion that can be expressed in a variety of different ways. Changes in the body occur when someone experiences and emotion. They are both biological and physiological by nature, and have different effects on the body. Usually they include an increased heart rate that’s caused by an increase in adrenaline. If someone is out of control, meaning they can’t control their response to these changes, the natural reaction of their body takes over. There are many signs that a person shows when they are out of control when it comes to anger. They often lash out at the person or people who have caused them to become angry. Uncontrollable screaming or crying is often associated with anger issues. Knee jerking is an involuntary response to anger. Sometimes a person that is enraged with anger will have flushing skin, as well as shaking or trembling. Also, when someone is angry they can cause bodily harm to themselves and others.
