What are they doing to improve their businesses on a regular basis? Are they doing things you are not? If so, are you missing out on such things and should consider putting them in play for your business? That is with your twist on them?

By being open to ideas and realizing you can learn from others, you increase odds staying around.

If you are on good terms with some competition, you may get together at times and talk shop.
