The sequel takes place in New York, where Macauley Culkin’s character finds himself stranded after being separated from his family after he boards the wrong flight. 3) Mrs Santa Claus (1996)

This cheerful Christmas film stars Angela Ladbury as Mrs Claus and features incredible musical numbers from Broadway legendary composer Jerry Herman. Mrs Claus wants her husband to take a new route on his sleigh, but he’s preoccupied. Therefore, she takes matters into her own hands and learns more about the political issues of the time after befriending a family in New York.

Arnold Schwarzenegger changes from action film star to family man in this heart-warming movie. He plays Howard Langston who is desperately trying to purchase a Turbo Man action figure for his son during a last minute shopping trip. The movie is jam-packed with humor and is a subtle nod to parents who may relate to the difficulty of finding the perfect gift for their kids!

5) The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

A college student must make it from Los Angeles to New York in time for Christmas Day to receive a brand new car from his dad. Antics ensue as the road trip turns out to be more eventful than planned. Ultimately, he comes to know the fulfillment of giving and helping out a person in need.
