Monoprice 110010  Features

The headphone model Monoprice 110010 is a great option for buyers who want to listen to music casually but don’t want to go deep like professionals. It offers wireless audio with big ear pads for comfortable listening to music. Additionally features such as noise cancellation offers a great option for buyers. But, before buying let’s check the Monoprice 110010 Review 2023 in detail, read it carefully to make your buying decision.

  1. Audio quality

For any buyer headphone audio quality is the 1st preference and Monoprice 110010 offers decent music quality. With the 45mm drivers and big comfortable ear pads the experience of listening is enjoyable. While the feature of noise cancellation enhances audio listening in noisy places such as trains, airports, metros, etc.

While in technicalities the low, mid and high are quite balanced very well and overall don’t bother a normal music lover in any way. For Base lovers, the quality of Base is above average and does its task in a good way.

  1. Comfort

The Monoprice 110010 model has a snug fitting on our ear, as it goes over the head. The soft cushion of earphones offers a comfy feeling to our ears and even for a long duration you will not fill much discomfort. While we tested the headphone for gaming we found the latency is not much satisfying. For persons with bigger ears, there might be a problem as the ear cups are not big enough for Larger ears. Additionally, there is slight padding required on the headband too.

Talking about weight, we found it very comfortable. For People who use their headphones daily, it will fit in their usage of everyday music listening very well.

  1. Battery performance

In our review, we get quite a long battery life of approximately 52 hours. While playing long games and watching movies using the headphone the battery life will drop by a few hours only. In the worst case, the battery will offer at least two days of battery life therefore with optimum battery life this headphone justifies the price. While the only con we find is the charging time, it takes more than longer for to get fully charged.

  1. Design and Build quality

The design of Monoprice 110010 is carefully done as it is quite light in weight and comes very easy to wear for a longer period of time. The material used in making the headphone is made of metal and coated with rubber. The earcups are comfy but for larger ears, it might get uncomfortable. The Placement of buttons are good but lacks tactile feedback, which irritates sometimes such as changing the volume, play-pause and changing tracks. Additionally, there is a 3.5 mm port is given to get a wired connection while an option to connect via Bluetooth is always there too. Overall the weight of 6.3 oz is comfortable for whole-day usage, but only for small and mid-size ear people.

  1. Noise cancellation performance

For the people who travel now and then, the feature of ANC (Anti noise cancellation) is a must. Using an array of sensors and mics, headphones phase out any external noise from your ear and you get to listen to a noise-free sound. Similarly in our Monoprice 110010 Review 2023, we found a satisfactory amount of ANC feature that makes the music listening experience better. It actively reduces the noise level and delivers noise-free music. While playing games it also delivers sound with minimum lag timing, which allows a rich gaming experience.

  1. Water and dust protection

As per the specs, the Monoprice 110010 does come with dust or water protection such as IP58 & IP64 ratings respectively. This simply means while using it outdoors we need to be careful and keep it away from water and dusty environment. In other words, we should avoid wearing this headphone while workout or any physical activity that results sweating.

  1. Connectivity

This Monoprice model comes equipped with Bluetooth 4.1 having an optimum range of 32 feet or, 10 metres. The codec from Qualcomm aptX audio delivers high-quality audio through the dedicated app with compatible devices. In our testing, we got a host of customisation features through the aptX native app and get to augment the sound with small tweaks. Therefore with the aptX application, we can unlock the premium crystal clear sound experience.

  1. Mic performance

This model comes with an array of mics purposely for noise cancellation and allow us to talk seamlessly without any distortion. Inbuilt mics catch the voice and filter out the noise which helps in gaming, taking calls, online meetings, etc. While testing we get satisfactory mic performance most of the time.

Final verdict

Pros:

  1. Optimal audio performance with bass and midrange
  2. Comfortable and sturdy design
  3. Feature packed (ANC, Qualcomm aptX, Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5 mm port )
  4. Good battery life
  5. Competitive price tag

Cons:

  1. No water & dust resistant feature
  2. Difficult adjustability with the hard band and small earcups.
  3. Materials used are not long-lasting & started to wear in long run.
  4. Poor customer support.

In our Monoprice 10010 review, we found this headphone worthy and justify the price tag. Features such as noise cancellation, Bluetooth 4.1 and a budget price tag make it a worthy competitor with popular brands. For people who are not professional users and want to enjoy music casually then this should be on your buying list. But do check nearby service centres as there might be a chance of non-availiability of customer support in your city.
