We learn so many times that kisans do sucides because they do not get the income as per their expectation. Most kisans are debt and they can repay the loan only when they get double income of the real income. To provide financial assistance PM Modi launched various Sarkari Yojana for kisan. Kisan karj mafi yojna, kisan samman nidhi yojana, kisan pension yojna, gobar dhan yojana are some of the very popular government yojanas led by our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kisan Pension Yojana
Kisan Pension Yojna is developed to build the financial status of elderly farmers. Farmers can get good pension amount after some years by investing into Kisan Pension Yojna. This scheme is made for the small landowners. Kisan has to invest particular amount every month in this scheme and government will add the same amount in this scheme. Kisan will get particular amount every month after retirement age. If the farmer dies 50 percent amount of pension will be delivered to farmer’s wife. Kisan can join in this group if they wish to.
Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna
Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna is enhanced to provide certain income to poor landowners. Cultivating land is the only source of their income. Their income is limited and they have no accessibility of any other income. Kisan will be provided 6000Rsannually as a support of income. This income is divided into three slabs, 2000 Rs will be given every four months to farmer’s family. This ambitious scheme is developed for social and welfare cause. Its focus is to develop the agriculture activity and to reduce the poverty level.
Kisan Karj Mafi Yojna
Most farmers take loans for cultivating lands. The failure of crop makes them helpless to repay the loan. This issue is noticed by PM after farmers started doing suicides. This ratio is decreased after the declaration of PM Karj Mafi Yojana. Under this scheme Kisans loan will be waived by the state government and kisan are free from burden of loan repayment. This can be done only on the serious situation of failure of crops, burning of crops.
Gobar Dhan Yojana
Most farmers rely on pesticides and fertilizers. They are costly and farmers could not afford it. Gobar Dhan Yojana is an initiative made to help the farmers creating their own fertilizers and pesticides. They are encouraged to save cow dungs and process it to make compost fertilizers. A special session is made to motivate farmers to grow the cheap fertilizers to improve productivity. Social workers come to meet farmers to get them acknowledgement of how to process cow dung and make fertilizers on their own land in cheap rates.
So here are some special kisan sarkari yojana implemented to give special respect to the real heroes of India. Farmers build the nation because our lives can live without technology but not without food.
